Hi, I'm Neil Best, a photographer based in Greater Manchester with a passion for capturing sport, motorsport, wildlife, landscapes, and the natural world.
My photography journey began on the rugby touchline, where I have spent many years documenting the action, emotion, and spirit of the game. Through my long association with Broughton Park Rugby Club, I have developed a love for telling stories through images and capturing those decisive moments that often pass in the blink of an eye.
More recently, I have expanded my photography into motorsport, embracing the challenge of photographing speed, movement, and the excitement of race day. From mastering panning techniques to capturing the atmosphere both on and off the track, motorsport has opened up a whole new creative dimension to my work.
Away from sport, you'll often find me exploring the countryside with my camera. Wildlife and landscape photography offer a different pace and perspective, allowing me to capture the beauty, character, and tranquillity of the natural world.
Whatever the subject, my aim is always the same: to create compelling images that tell a story, evoke emotion, and preserve moments that might otherwise be forgotten.
